Liam's choreography has a surrealist approach. Conceptualizing movement and imagery through his sketches, he balances absurdity with reality to create characters and stories that elicit powerful emotional reactions.
His work has been recognised for its creativity and precision; in 2021, his choreography was awarded 1st place in the Dancing Together , Distances Apart Regional Dance Competition. In 2025 he was commissioned to return to Barbados to represent his nation's delegation at CARIFESTA, the Caribbean's largest international arts festival.
